today it was a sight not to miss at sri mariamman temple....... the test of faith for many engaged in fulfilling their vows, 2 45 am many ready to go past the hot ember pit, many standing in the temple waiting for their loved ones to pass unscathed , the classical instruments blasting music of god , the karagam arrived and the om sakthi chants began , the karagam past everything went well untill nature poured rain , halting the festival for one hour . The mental pressure and faith had to be so great i suppose that faith helped win over nature- one man in particular hhis voice heard and resonated for 20 mins om sakthi-the sound of a whip tasting the skin , how immense can faith get, next yr i will go and have my faith tested..... till then OM SAKTHI
